Trenchless drilling entails
various forms of
sophisticated drilling
by means of highly
specialized equipment, man
operated or
machine operated, that
yields minimal intrusive
impact on land
surfaces eg roads, railways
etc.
The company operates from
its East Rand premises
located in
Apex Business Park, off
Snake road, on the Benoni /
Brakpan
municipal border.
TRG International operates
throughout South Africa. In
addition
it has completed projects in
Mozambique and Uganda. It
seeks
to undertake similar
projects more frequently in
other parts of
Africa, especially within
the SADC region.
Since the company's
inception, August 2002, the
company is
spearheaded by Andre Leon
Wood. Currently a complement
of
approximately 50 staff are
employed.
Due to the contractual
nature of the business, 26
are permanent staff. Among
these are support staff who
are engaged in areas of
finance, administration and
workshop management.
The
installation of pipes that
require the aforementioned
drilling
are primarily aimed at
water, gas, sewerage,
telecommunication
underground transportation. |

undertakes soil sampling
projects and is
committed to finding
eco-sensitive solutions to
its challenges.
TRG promotes an ethos of
on-going training,
particularly for
staff who use its
man-operated equipment found
on site.
The company's clients are
sourced primarily from the
Construction, Mining,
Municipal,
Telecommunications & Energy
sectors. The company is
poised to broaden its
spectrum of
